merrimanSeeing as I've been really bad about writing lately (I swear, it's driving me nuts) maybe it was a bad idea to sign up for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
hlh_shortcuts but I did it anyhow. Challenges kick my butt to write so that's good.
Also, for any HL fans on my flist who hadn't seenhlh_shortcuts mentioned elsewhere, it's a fic swap challenge and lots of folks are signed up so it looks like it'll have a great range of stories posted in a couple of months. Go on and take a look!

In other news - YAY!yuletide signups are open! Time for me to make my disgustingly huge list of offered fandoms and then begin the daunting task of narrowing down what to ask for.

For whoever gets me:
- In the past I've been almost exclusively a slasher but no more. Please, feel free to write gen/het/slash/fade to black/whatever. I'm flexible these days.
- My very favorite character is Methos so it would be fab if he was in the story but by no means is he required, especially if you don't feel up to writing him.
- As for the crossovers, if one strikes your fancy, go for it. If not don't worry. I'll be quite pleased with a HL-only story. I included the crossover ideas because I do enjoy seeing how the HL characters interact with other types of people with special abilities that aren't like their own. Especially other kinds of immortality or the like.
- When I say I like happy endings mostly that means that while I certainly don't mind putting a character through some tough shit I like the end of a fic to at least leave them not broken. I like a little hope in my endings.
