merrimanOh look, I haven't posted since last Yuletide. I should probably do more over here. Ah well. That's for later me to worry about!
First and foremost:

Thank you for offering something I requested! Yuletide truly is one of my favorite things and I'm always so thrilled to see what someone else has in mind for the bitty little (and maybe not so bitty) fandoms I've requested. Treats are always welcome, though never expected.
Secondly, let's talk generalities: (this bit stolen from previous years' letters)
When it comes to rating, I am not picky. I'll be just as happy with a gen story as with smut and vice versa. Don't try and force a sex scene into a story if it's just not going there for you and don't try to keep it all-audiences if things are heating up. As well, I am perfectly good with slash, femslash, het, poly of any type, when it comes to relationships and pairings. Write what works for the characters and for you so long as it doesn't hit one of the DNWs below.
I am such a sucker for backstory and continuing stories, seeing what happened before we met the character(s) or after the end of the canon. Missing scenes are great too, but you can always get me with some pre or post-canon.
I love angst in stories, but I also like my angst to be resolved by the end of the story. I'm not asking for everything to be super happy funtime with kittens and roses and party balloons, but I'd like some resolution to whatever problem comes up.
As for my DNW list, here goes:
Non-con/dub-con/rape
Pregnancy
Kidfic
Mpreg

Incest
Underage sex
Cannibalism (of the sexual and non-sexual varieties)
Sex involving bodily fluids other than the norm, and human waste of any kind

I'm good with different POVs, but I'd prefer to get plain prose as a format - I'm not into IF, video, poetry, drabble sets, etc. for these requests.
Thirdly, now for specifics:
1. Legend of Billie Jean
Characters: Billie Jean Davy
Why Do I Love This: I saw this movie at the perfect age and absolutely fell in love with it. The 80s fashion, the rebellion, the fighting against shitty men doing shitty things, the soundtrack!
Request: This movie was a formative piece of media for me and I will love it forever. I would love to see Billie Jean post-movie - what does she do with her life after it all? Does she keep the haircut? Does she find another cause to fight for? How do they like Vermont? I want to know!
Additional prompts:
* Billie Jean gets a call 10 years later for an interview
* A chance meeting between Billie Jean and Detective Ringwald post-movie
2. Highlander: The Raven
Characters: Liam Riley, Lucy Becker
Why Do I Love This: I absolutely adored the original Highlander movie and the TV show (we shall not speak of the other movies) and I especially adored Amanda. I was thrilled when she got her own show, then sad that it wasn't as good as I'd hoped and that it ended after one season. There's so much opportunity for the characters introduced here and I want more.
Request: I am of the opinion that the side characters in The Raven were far more engaging than the main characters, much as I love and adore Amanda. Lucy was so much fun as a foil for her in the first half of the season, and Liam's character got cheated of what promised to be a lot more story by the show's cancellation. I would love to see Lucy and Liam meet, but I would also love a solo adventure for Liam (present day or in his past), and for Lucy, what does she do when Amanda is out of town? We know she's off on various "jobs" and trips all the time, so what is Lucy up to then?
Additional Prompts:
* Lucy heading off (or beheading) an Immortal who is after Amanda
* Liam harbors another Immortal in the church, even though he doesn't like them
3. The Avengers (TV 1961)
Characters: Mother, John Steed, Emma Peel
Why Do I Love This: Another formative piece of media for me. I told my mother I wanted to be Emma Peel when I grew up. Alas, I am not British and I am 5'4" so that's not going to happen. I can dream, though! I love the banter and silliness mixed in with the serious in so many of the plots, as well as the many and varied skills both Emma and Steed have.
Request: I adore the character of Mother and I've always thought he should have been in more episodes, so a solo fic about him would be absolutely dandy with me. Interactions with either or both Emma and Steed would also be fantastic, but feel free to mix and match or do a solo dive on any single character of the three. A "missing episode" would always be fun, or a rare non-work interaction between any of them. I don't really ship Steed and Emma beyond their flirtatious tension but I'm also not opposed to a little romance.

4. The Prisoner (1967)
Characters: Number Six
Why Do I Love This: What a weird fucking show. I've always loved how slightly unhinged everything is in the Village, and how most of the people there just seem to run with it. I love the ever-changing Number Two position. I love Rover. And most of all I love that there's an ever-present attitude from Number Six that this is all a game he WILL eventually win. My very favorite episode is Hammer Into Anvil, followed closely by the first, last, and penultimate episodes.
Request: Oh how I adore this weird-ass show. The eerie nature of the Village, the numbers, the cheery "good morning, good morning!" over the radio every day, Rover, etc. The mind games Six plays with everyone, the mind games the folks running the Village play with him. I would love to see more of that sort of thing, or perhaps a return to the Village after Fall Out?

* Rover speaks and it's very unnerving
