Every year for the past three Yuletide has made me squeeful, both for the stories I was assigned and the stories I recieved. I can't express how much I love this exchange and how amazed I am at the mods' work to make it run as smoothly as possible. In addition, this year I got a story from one of the mods! It makes me a happy monkey.

Anyhow, now that authors have been revealed, I thought I'd post links to the two stories I wrote:

Title: To Everything
Fandom: Tamora Pierce - Circle of Magic
Characters/Pairing: Rosethorn/Lark, Crane
Rating: PG13
Summary: Four seasons in Discipline Cottage at Winding Circle. Rosethorn and Lark settle in and find their bearings.
Notes: 1. Betaed by Ari and Amanda, who rock. 2. Written for Melly in the Yuletide 2006 exchange. 3. Femslash but not explicit by any means. 4. How much do I love that Rosethorn/Lark is canon? Sooooo much.

Title: Landing
Fandom: Lost Boys (movie)
Characters: David and Michael mainly, with a wee bit of the other vampires except for Max.
Rating: PG
Summary: There are things Michael almost misses.
Notes: 1. Not betaed as it was written on the fly as a stocking stuffer for Archivist12 in the Yuletide 2006 exchange. 2. I wrote this fandom last year and didn't think I'd bother this year but I'm glad I did.

If anyone's curious, I've written a total of 5 stories for Yuletide so far. They are here, but I do highly recommend poking through the big archive. It's absolutely amazing what people write for this exchange every year. And if you're interested in seeing what people request, writing a New Year's Resolution story, or bored/stuck and looking for a prompt, I suggest looking at the NYR list, which is a compilation of all of the requests that the assigned authors chose to write something else instead of (my recipient asked for four different things but you only have to write one, so there are always unfilled requests), or the Pinch Hitter Requests page. The Pinch Hitters page is pretty cool, because not all of the people who volunteered to write pinch hits had been part of the initial exchange, so they wrote stories but had nothing in the archive on Christmas. I don't think there's anything on there tha I can write, so I really hope others can.

I'll be posting the last of my recs (S-Z) some time soon.
