If this is for good (please fuck no) then I think I'm done. This show has jerked me around a lot and I've stuck with it because I love the insanity and I love the head games and I love the mythology. But most of all because I love Kara Thrace and I love Starbuck and they could have killed off half the cast and I'd have watched so long as they kept her.

Without her? I'm sorry. It's not enough.

So yeah. I am hoping they're faking us out. It was done in such a way that I can't imagine they won't bring her back somehow either in the season end cliffhanger or in the premier of next season. But I've heard some unsettling rumors about Sackhoff wanting out and this show doesn't shy away from killing people off.
